So, yesterday was Kyrie from FF7R. Not much to say, but I picked her largely as a counter-part to Yuffie from last year. She is bootleg Yuffie, so her set was kind of a bootleg of Yuffie's Christmas Adventure from last year. I even gave her the exact same outfit, just to drive that point home. But she's generally a fun pick to work with, so it worked out. Didn't have much else in mind for an FF7 pick.

So, yesterday was Iris from Ascendant One. A character from a very dead game. Not much to say about this set, just that it's been a while since I last did her, so I figured it was a perfect time to bring her back in a small set format. Nothing too special in terms of animations, but it's fine. I did make her dress, and it came out relatively well for something I did. Pretty rare for that to happen with me. x)

Much like my 5th Anniversary stuff, I'll be talking about the previous day's content since the day of I will be avoiding saying who they are and what not. In this case, yesterday's character was 'Rixia Mao' from the Trails/Kiseki series. A series that I've recently started playing through and have been enjoying. There's actually quite a lot of characters from the series I'll probably get around to working with at some point, but I chose Rixia for the first one for a couple reasons. For one, you can't really go wrong with a cute face + big boobs. But she's also just a nice/cool character, so she works in that regard for me, too. I did go pretty simple with her animations, so I'd definitely like to do some more with her in the future. No clue when, though.

So, first of all, there's an 'intro' in the folder that was supposed to be at the end of the Y'shtola video yesterday, but due to various reasons I forgot to add it. Rather, I forgot to make it in the first place. Thursday was a hectic day for me, so yeah. Slipped my mind. Not really needed, really poorly made(slapped it together in five minutes), but it sort of leads into the intro proper. And each day will have a different box intro.

As for the character/animations themselves today... well, I can't spoil the surprise now, can I? I will lightly comment on the animations today. This was actually the very first set I did, which might become obvious as the series progresses, since things like the framing and positions are a lot more... standard than some later sets, let's say. I was still a bit unsure of the idea/concept at the time, so things had yet to fully form in my mind what I wanted to do with the sets/animations/characters just yet. Still, they're not bad animations or anything, just that Y'shtola's animations are probably closer to the rest of the sets than this one. 

Still, I had fun with this one. Could be something to return to in the future.

So, today is a mix of Halloween and Christmas. There's a little Christmas movie in there, but also the Recluse versions left-over from Halloween. While today marks the start, it doesn't really start until tomorrow where the characters will not be known until the video is watched. So every day will be a surprise. You may also notice a small change in the calendar. Instead of 12, it's now 20. That's right, the number has increased. I've got 4 characters past the 12 (mostly) ready, and there's only 4 more to go, so this will continue on into New Year's. Where the final day will feature my usual 'Year-End Review' sort of thing where I'll talk about the sets and maybe have a survey people can fill out and what have you. As for who will be featured in these sets? Well, just gotta wait to find out. x)

Just a quick sort of pose to drop the poll animations, but also to give a brief idea of what the Christmas stuff will entail. I randomly got a 'Advent Calendar' idea, and while it's a bit too late to do a proper full on Advent Calendar, I'm doing a sort of abridged one. Basically, for the period of this Advent Calendar, I will be posting a new character set each day. Think of it like my 5th Anniversary, but with way less characters. And - hopefully - way better conent. It also won't be themed for one series. Each day will feature someone unique from a unique game. No repeats from the same game or anything like that. And it's gonna be 12 days... presumably. I'm actually just about finished with 9 characters, and today will hopefully mark another one or two done. And, if all goes to plan, I will hopefully have all 12 done by this Sunday. But I have more characters in mind beyond the 12, the issue will be scheduling it all... but I'll figure it out. Plus, I might make Y'shtola an honorary 13th. I will still do the Recluse outfit, but she'll also probably be donning a Christmassy set for an alt to start it. Since it just makes sense to me to do it that way. But everyone else involved in this set will be a total mystery. You'll see some familiar faces, and then quite a few new ones too. Almost half-and-half in that regard. Not quite, but close. If I was less lazy with rigging, it might actually have been half-and-half. And I considered doing some hints like in the Anniversary, but instead I'll let it be a total surprise. 

But yeah, that's my Christmas set plan. It will most likely start on the 12th and continue to the 25th. Or maybe beyond. Just depends on how many I can finish. Gotta see how it goes. But until then!
